Our morning program continued its week-long look at the military with the Coast Guard. We looked at its role as the military and maritime arm of the Department of Homeland Security and its military capability and humanitarian role. 

The show took a look at the Coast Guard reauthorization bill and what that means for the Coast Guard and concerns over possible budget cuts. Our guest was Rear Adm. Karl Schultz.
