The Bill of Rights
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and others spoke at the National Constitution Center, which put an original copy of the Bill of Rights on display, along with copies of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. The new exhibit opened to the public on December 15, 2014. The gallery is named after former President George H.W. Bush, who once served as Chairman of the Constitution Center. Japan During World War I
Frederick Dickinson, author of World War I and the Triumph of a New Japan, 1919-1930, talked about Japan’s military involvement and rise as a global power during World War I. He described Japan as one of the few countries pulled into the conflict as an ally rather than because of a colonial relationship.115 views
