    Communicators on Medical Technology

    Dr. Michael Blum, a cardiologist from the University of California - San Francisco, talked about developments in medical technology and the future of medicine. Interviews were also shown from two booths focused on medical technology at both the 2015 International CES and “CES on the Hill” electronics shows.

    This was the sixth episode in a Communicators series of interviews from the 2015 International CES, a consumer electronics show held by the Consumer Electronics Association, January 6-9, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada, on developments in communications, television, the Internet, and consumer technology, and the related policy issues.

    “CES on the Hill,” sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), was held April 15, 2015, in the cafeteria of the Rayburn House Office Building to expose members of Congress and their staff to technology companies and products that could be of use to them or are at the center of some of the current technology policy debates.

    Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition Summit

    Republican presidential hopefuls and others spoke at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition’s 2015 Spring Kickoff in Waukee. Speakers included Senators Rand Paul (R-KY), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Ted Cruz (R-TX), Governors Scott Walker (R-WI) and Bobby Jindal (R-LA), former Governors Rick Perry (R-TX) and Mike Huckabee (R-AR), former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), and Carly Fiorina.

    The Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition’s 2015 Spring Kickoff was held at the Point of Grace Church.
