Survey: Pakistani Public Supports the Army, Resents U.S. Actions

The Pakistani Army’s campaign against the Taliban has wide public support, a new poll by World Public Opinion shows. However, the survey also demonstrates resentment towards attacks by the U.S. military.  Gen. Jehangir Karamat, fmr. Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke about challenges facing the Pakistani Army during a talk at the Atlantic Council.
