White House Unveils $3.8T Budget

The White House sent its $3.8 trillion FY2011 budget request to Congress today. The plan includes a proposal for a three-year freeze on non-security discretionary spending and allows some of the Bush-era tax cuts to expire.

White House Meeting with Congressional Leaders President Obama, just before a meeting with Congressional Republicans and Democrats made remarks on a jobs bill and the federal deficit. Following the meeting, Republican leaders made remarks to reporters outside the White House about what was discussed.
