Rich Mauer from the Anchorage Daily News talks about his investigative reporting on the Stevens trial and other Alaska political corruption cases, many involving state legislators. Included in the program are secretly recorded telephone conversations used as evidence in the trial as well as portions of an interview with Wev Shea, a former US Attorney in Alaska who is highly critical of the way the prosecution has handled the Stevens case and Chuck Neubauer, a former Los Angeles Times investigative reporter, who wrote stories about the senator's lobbying connections with his son, Ben Stevens, back in 2003.
