In light of the global financial crisis, Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL) chaired a House Energy Subcmte. hearing on the prospect of lifting the trade embargo against Cuba and the impact on economic growth in America. Earlier this month, Rep. Rush and other members of the Congressional Black Caucus met with Pres. Raul Castro in Cuba.
