Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), the Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, spoke on the Senate Floor about the proper role of a federal judge, and made a case for judicial restraint over judicial activism. Following Sen. Sessions's remarks, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) made rebuttal remarks.
