Dr. John Sverha, Virginia Hospital Center‘s Emergency Medicine Chairman

Dr. John Sverha discussed the Virginia Hospital Center‘s medical services of the hospital’s emergency room and its preparedness for medical emergencies such as the H1N1 swine flu virus. Dr. Sverha joined the hospital in 1999 and has been chairman of the emergency medicine department at Virginia Hospital Center since January 2007. He also has been the lead in coordinating the hospital’s disaster preparedness activities.
