Pres. Obama joins former Pres. George H.W. Bush at a forum honoring national and local volunteers. The forum commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Points of Light Institute, created after Pres. Bush signed the Nat'l & Community Service Act of 1990 and assists community volunteer organizations. Public service is a major policy issue for Pres. Obama, who recently signed the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act.
