FCC Gives Status on Nat'l Broadband Plan

Blair Levin, head of the Federal Communications Cmsn.'s Broadband Initiative, joined The Communicators with an update on plans to expand broadband service in the U.S. The FCC has until Feb. 2010 to submit the plan to the House Energy & Commerce Subcmte. on Communications, Technology and the Internet. Last week, the Subcmte. heard testimony on shortage issues with the wireless spectrum.
