unemployment rate holds at 9.7%

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the latest employment figures, showing the rate was unchanged at 9.7%. The Labor Dept. said employers cut 36,000 jobs in February. Pres. Obama spoke about jobs and the Joint Economic Cmte. held a hearing on the job numbers.
