Prime Minister Brown Outlines "Global New Deal" Plan

In a morning address to a Joint Meeting of Congress, British P.M. Brown outlined his proposal to stabilize the global economic crisis and called for lawmakers to resist “protectionist instincts” on trade. Mr. Brown also announced that Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-MA) has been awarded honorary knighthood.
