Expanding Public Access to the United States Legislative Process


C-SPAN sent letters to the leaders of Congress to propose the expansion of televised coverage of Congress -- providing a more complete view of the legislative process to the general public. The following are the letters written to Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole about the use of C-SPAN's cameras at the U.S. Capitol.
