Since its launch as a full time digital service earlier this year, C-SPAN 3 has gained corporate-wide carriage commitments from Time Warner Cable, Cablevision Systems and Comcast Cable Communications. Now we've made it easier for you to include C-SPAN 3 on your lineup.

Now C-SPAN 3 is available on Galaxy 10R, transponder 20, the same satellite transponder as ESPNEWS, ESPN Classic, Toon Disney, SoapNet, Lifetime Movie Channel and Lifetime Real Women. This prime location offers our affiliates a low-cost, bandwidth-efficient means of providing C-SPAN 3 on digital tiers. We believe this location, sometimes called the "Bristol Pod" or the "Disney Pod," will allow for widespread distribution of C-SPAN 3 on your system(s). C-SPAN 3 is a free service to C-SPAN affiliates.

During the day, C-SPAN 3 televises coverage of congressional hearings, press conferences, the best in political seminars and conferences, and National Press Club speeches in the unique long-form style that's classic C-SPAN.

Starting in primetime and on weekends, C-SPAN 3 spotlights American history. Features include our award-winning original history series and contemporary programs like profiles of political leaders, museum tours and chronicles of congressional hearings. Stripped across the schedule in primetime each weeknight, C-SPAN 3 airs the best of Brian Lamb's Booknotes programs.
