HUMPHREY INTERVIEW
The final program in our five-part series featuring oral history from former Vice President Hubert Humphrey, who served under President Lyndon Johnson. In the last of these recordings from the winter of 1974-75 and provided by the Minnesota Historical Society, Humphrey dictates more of his thoughts into a tape recorder. Topics include the post-war ear of the 1940s, his time as Mayor of Minneapolis, and being attacked and heckled by protesters while traveling as Vice President.

1974 HUBERT HUMPHREY ORAL HISTORY
Hear portions of an oral history recording done by former Vice President Hubert Humphrey. In December of 1974 and January of 1975, Humphrey recorded his thoughts on his life and career in public service for author Norman Sherman, who was working with the former Vice President on his autobiography, "The Education of a Public Man." These audio recordings are being provided by Norman Sherman and the Hubert H. Humphrey Video, Film, and Audio Collection of the Minnesota Historical Society.
