Colonial Williamsburg

On the eve of the American Revolution, Williamsburg, Virginia was a bustling capital city - home to Colonial politicians, tradespeople, and an enslaved population. American History TV returned to the Williamsburg of the 1770s on December 5th, where we were LIVE from the historic district. We saw Revolutionaries and British loyalists mingle on the streets, and took tours of the Governor's Palace and Virginia Capitol building. Viewers asked questions of historians, curators and interpreters throughout the day. On Christmas Day, we're re-airing all of our programming from Williamsburg on C-SPAN3's American History TV.

Here's the schedule:

·         12 pm - Mitchell Reiss, Colonial Williamsburg President & CEO

·         12:10 pm -  Dissolving the Virginia House of Burgesses - 1774
