		BASE CLOSURES BRAC Vote in the House On Thursday, Oct. 27, the House of Repre- sentatives voted down a resolution submitted by Rep. Ray LaHood (R-IL) to reject the recommendations of the Base Closure and Realignment Commission. The final vote was 324-85. Now the Senate takes up the list.


		BASE CLOSURES Now In Congressional Review Period After the BRAC Commission marked up the list of recommended base changes on Aug. 24-26, Pres. Bush accepted the recommendations on Sept. 15. If Congress does not reject the list within 45 days, they become binding. FINAL REPORT TO PRESIDENT
