U.S. Policy Towards North Korea
Use C-SPAN in the Classroom's discussion questions and sample video to teach and follow Current Events as they relate to the ongoing debate on policy towards North Korea.
Discussion Questions
What events led to diplomatic efforts the United States is currently directing at North Korea? Review the relevant history of U.S. diplomacy with North Korea in the last decades. What is the U.S. relationship with South Korea? Describe the relationship between South and North Korea. Name some other countries that are involved. Identify variables that are impacting our current response to North Korea. Is there any connection between the situation with North Korea and the U.S. war on terrorism or its policy toward Iraq?
