 CAMPAIGN FINANCE DATABASE

SEARCH CAMPAIGN FINANCE DATA
Campaign finance data originates from the Federal Election Commission and is updated every month. Candidates and PACs are required to file with the Commission throughout the two-year election cycle, disclosing all expenditures and receipts from donors who contribute more than $200.
You can search this database for each two-year campaign cycle, from 1994 to 2004.

CANDIDATE NAME SEARCH >>
Search for candidates' reported receipts and expenditures for the 1994 through 2004 election cycles. Search for specific candidates by name or for lists of candidates from your state. Incumbents and previous office holders are indicated in bold.

Choose your state from the pull down list to return a list of candidates, both winning and losing, for any campaign year. >>
Or type in the last name of a specific candidate to call up his or her reported receipts and expenditures during any campaign season. >>

DONOR NAME AND ZIP CODE SEARCH >>
Search for donors to campaigns from the 1994 to the 2004 election cycles by last name, or search for all donors within your specific ZIP code. You may also search for donors by name and ZIP code.

Type in the first three letters or the full name of a donor and find out to whom they contributed. >>
Type in your five-digit ZIP code and find all donors from your area during a specific election cycle. >>
Type in the first three letters or the full name of a donor and their five-digit ZIP code and find out to whom they contributed. >>

LEADING FUNDRAISERS/SPENDERS SEARCH >>
Search for the top fundraisers by source of contributions: contributions from individuals; PAC and other non-party contributions; or loans from the candidate. Search for the highest total fundraisers or the biggest campaign spenders. Or find out who has the largest campaign war chest.

Choose an election cycle from 1994 to 2004, and the type of race. >>
Then pick one of the eight categories of fundraising or expenditures. >>
