National Action Network Hosts Martin Luther King Day Breakfast

Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network hosted a breakfast event to recognize individuals whom they feel are honoring Martin Luther King Jr.'s tradition of civil rights activism.

The 2012 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Prayer Breakfast—titled “King, Don’t Just Celebrate, Emulate” is being held in Washington, DC. Participants include Motown Records founder Berry Gordy, former U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexis Herman, President of the National Action Network Reverend Al Sharpton, and EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson.
