The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) hosted a discussion with Chief of Staff of the Army General Raymond Odierno on Thursday in Washington, D.C.
The General discussed the future of the U.S. Army in the face of a tighter budget and the prossibility of sequestration, as well as the future of Afghanistan and the Army's wider purpose.
After the discussion, he answered questions from the audience.
CSIS Senior Vice President and Director of the International Security Program David Berteau also joined the discussion. CSIS International Security Program Senior Fellow Nathan Freier and CSIS Senior Adviser Kim Wincup moderated.
