The Democratic National Convention Committee unveiled the convention stage inside the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina Friday. Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx and Democratic National Convention Committee CEO Steve Kerrigan gave a tour of the arena to students from the North Carolina School for the Deaf and spoke with reporters about the process of transforming the home of the Charlotte Bobcats to the convention home.
DNCC CEO Kerrigan said this will be the most open convention in history by holding events open to the public at the start and end of the Democratic Convention which gets underway next week on Tuesday.
