First Lady Michelle Obama Campaigns in Gainesville, FL

First Lady Michelle Obama spoke to grassroots supporters in Gainesville, Fla. today. 

At the event, held at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center at the University of Florida, the First Lady discussed the impact the election will have on Florida residents. 

She also promoted the campaign's "It Takes One" effort, which aims to encourage voters to organize in their communities for the campaign. 

President Obama and Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney will be in Florida on Thursday for fundraisers. 

Florida has 29 electoral votes up for grabs in November and is the third most frequently visited state by President Obama.  A new poll among likely voters by NBC News/WSJ/Marist shows the President leading Mitt Romney 49 to 44.
