Gov. Dannel Malloy (D) delivered the Connecticut State of the State Address at the Connecticut State House in Hartford on Wednesday.
In remarks, Governor Malloy reflected upon the recent Newtown school shootings, saying that real steps must be taken to make our kids and communities safer and said “more guns is not the answer."
He also addressed Connecticut’s budget, job creation, energy security, as well as Hurricane Sandy relief aid.
Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman of Connecticut made opening remarks.
