Former President Jimmy Carter gave the keynote address on U.S.-Latin America relations at an annual conference hosted by the Organization of American States, the Development Bank and the Inter-American Dialogue (CAF.)
Following Pres. Carter's remarks, he participated in a discussion on economic and development issues in the region, the upcoming election in Venezuela and the initiation of peace talks in Colombia.
The conference brings together over 250 U.S and Latin Americans government officials, international economists along with corporate and financial leaders.
