The Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania hosts a discussion on the role of journalism in fact checking and holding politicians and political groups accountable.

Panelists from FactCheck.org, the Washington Post, Politifact.com, and the Associated Press discuss the role of fact checkers in the upcoming presidential debates.

Additional panels also talk about the role that fact checkers are playing in the current campaign and whether they are having an impact on political speech and the polls, and the challenge that SuperPACs and other organizations playing a large role in this campaign pose to political journalists.
