Republican Deb Fischer and Democrat Bob Kerrey meet for a second debate Friday in Omaha, Nebraska. They are competing to fill the seat of retiring Sen. Ben Nelson (D).
Kerrey is looking to return to the Senate after leaving office in 2001. Fischer has served as a Nebraska state senator since 2004.
The two participated in their first debate in late August. Following Friday's debate, the candidates will go face-to-face in a final debate on October 1.
