Pres. Obama Battleground States Tour

President Obama continues his two-day "America Forward!" tour with stops in Florida, Virginia, and Ohio. The President will also make a stop in Chicago to vote early in-person, the first sitting President to do so.  

His first stop was at Ybor Centennial Park in Tampa, Florida.  He then traveled to the capital city of Virginia - Richmond - for an event at the Carillon at Byrd Park. In the evening, the President will hold an event in Cleveland at the Burke Lakefront Airport.   

The three states hold a total of 60 electoral votes in the election - 270 are needed to win.  According to recent polling, the candidates remain tight in all three states. Averages calculated by RealClearPolitics have Mitt Romney leading Florida 48.4% to 46.6%, while the two are tied at 48% in Virginia, and in Ohio, Pres. Obama leads 47.6% to 45.7%.
