President Obama traveled to Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Thursday for a campaign rally at the Farm Bureau Live.
Vice President Joe Biden also campaigned in Virginia, holding an event at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds in Chesterfiled on Tuesday.
During the event, Pres. Obama encouraged voters to register prior to the October 15th registration. In-person early voting is not permitted in Virginia, but mail-in absentee voting is allowed with an excuse.
In 2008, President Obama & Vice President Biden won the state with 52.6% of the vote. Recent polling in the state has the Obama campaign leading: FOX News has the campaign up by 7, Washington Post by 8.
