Topic: The latest data from the Heritage Foundation’s latest Index of Dependence on Government, which “measures dependence on government programs for housing, food, income, student aid or other assistance.” Heritage has released a preview of its upcoming report, which indicates that “government dependency is jumping for the fourth year in a row, and the Index has risen more than 31% in that time.”
