Topic: The U.S. is reportedly poised to give Egypt $1 B in debt relief in an effort to aid the country’s transition to democracy.  The U.S. also supports giving Egypt $5 B more through a loan from the International Monetary Fund.  Guest will discuss how these efforts would promote democracy, plus other fiscal aid offered by the United States.
