Topic: Pres. Obama’s recent announcement that he is nominating former  Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE) to be Secretary of Defense, succeeding Leon Panetta.  He also discussed the $633B 2013 defense authorization bill which Pres. Obama signed into law with cuts to the Pentagon budget.
