Aboard A Boomer

Trident Nuclear Submarine
Monday, November 27th & Tuesday, November 28th
Beginning at 8pm ET

C-SPAN will provide viewers with an inside look at a Trident nuclear submarine and a discussion about the U.S. Submarine Force. The two part series airs each night from 8pm until midnight.

Aboard a Boomer: The USS Wyoming features tours of the sub, interviews with crew members and their families, and actual drills performed during C-SPAN's visit. On both evenings guests will discuss all of the warfighting submarines that the United States currently operates.

Trident Nuclear Submarines, or Boomers, are fleet ballistic missile submarines used for carrying up to 24 long-range nuclear warhead missiles. They are part of the U.S. nuclear defense triad - air, land and sea.
