Judge Frederica Massiah-Jackson appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee for a second time to testify about her qualifications to be the federal judge for the U.S. District of Eastern Pennsylvania. This second hearing resulted from allegations against Judge Massiah-Jackson concerning her bias against law enforcement, leniency toward criminals, and improper conduct from the bench which became public after the committee had favorably recommended her to the full Senate. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) sat with the committee for this hearing. close
