Richard Butler, United Nations Chief Weapons Inspector, discussed the weapons inspection conducted by the United Nations in Iraq. He focused on the sanctions placed on Iraq until their weapons of mass destruction are disarmed. He emphasized that a large portion of Iraq’s chemical weapons have been disarmed but that a lot of work must still be done with the biological weapons. After his prepared remarks questions were taken from the audience. close
