President Richard Nixon talked about possible Supreme Court nominees, the presidential campaign, and legislation with Attorney General John Mitchell, White House Special Counsel Charles Colson, and future Supreme Court Associate Justice Lewis Powell. Also, calls with evangelist and Nixon friend Billy Graham, and Paul Keyes, a writer and producer for the TV show "Laugh-In", on which candidate Richard Nixon appeared briefly during the 1968 presidential campaign.
