Richard L. Tafel, Executive Director, LOG CABiN REPUBLICANS Faye Anderson, President, DOUGLASS POLICY INSTITUTE

talked about the image of the Republican Party, saying that Republicans were seen as exclusive rather than inclusive. They noted that the 1998 midterm elections indicated that those Republican governors who had embraced policies of inclusion had won whereas congressmen who had allied themselves with the far right had lost. After their remarks they answered questions from the audience.
