Professor Byard talked about the life of architect Cass Gilbert, the architect of the U.S. Supreme Court building. Although Gilbert was principal architect, he died in 1934 and did not see the completion of the building. He also designed the Woolworth Building and the U.S. Customs House in New York City. close
