Secretary Bacon and General Wald briefed reporters on the NATO military operation in Yugoslavia and efforts to assist Kosovar refugees in the region. Secretary Bacon reported the mistreatment of Kosovar women by the Serbians. General Wald said that the deteriorating weather in Yugoslavia hampered the bombing missions. He showed maps of the NATO targets, slides and a video from a B2 of bomb damage and targets. They took questions from reporters. close
