Military Strikes on Yugoslavia

General Clark briefed reporters about the NATO mission against Serbian forces in Yugoslavia and the refugee crisis in the region. He began by documenting the Serbian military buildup in Kosovo in violation of previous agreements. He then used charts and video images to show the damage NATO had inflicted on Serbian forces and to show how the forces were methodically destroying Kosovar villages. After the presentation he answered questions from reporters. He concluded the briefing with video footage of an attack which inadvertently struck a passenger train. close
