Democratic Representatives talked to reporters about their request that President Clinton pause NATO bombing for 72 hours in Yugoslavia. They stressed that they support the NATO mission but that the current strategy is failing. They felt that a pause in bombing would allow President Milosevic to withdraw his forces and, if the troops remain, NATO should continue the bombing. After their prepared remarks they took questions from reporters. close
