Julia Taft, the Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees & Migration, spoke about refugees around the world. The U.S. is the largest contributor of aid to refugee aid organizations in countries where such situations exists. She explained that approximately 80,000 refugees are accepted into the U.S. every year. She responded to audience telephone calls, faxes and emails. close
