The Senate Select committee completed its questioning of Senator Dennis DeConcini(D-AZ), one of the five senators under investigation for allegedly interfering with federal regulators' investigation of the financial dealings of Lincoln Savings and Loan, whose president, Charles Keating, donated sums of money to each senator’s campaign. Mr. DeConcini’s testimony was marked by complaints that the questioning was continuing beyond reason. close
