Nancy Duff Campbell, representing the The National Women’s Law Center, presented their report to Secretary Cohen, “Be All That We Can Be: Lessons from the Military for Improving Our Nation’s Child Care System.” Ms. Campbell described the report contents detailing the fundamental reforms in child care which began ten years ago in the U.S. military. Senator James Jeffords and Senator Chris Dodd were also present to receive the report. Defense Secretary William Cohen spoke to the reporters. close
