In a conference entitled “The News Media: Adjunct of the Gay Rights Movement?,” conservative critics of the gay rights movement examined what they considered to be bias in the news media. Don Feder, Boston Herald columnist and author of A Jewish Conservative and Who’s Afraid of the Religious Right, noted that 83% of the national news media thought of the gay lifestyle as acceptable.
