Mr. Lott talked about his book More Guns, Less Crime, published by the University of Chicago Press. The book presents research that the author believes shows a strong link between the number of concealed weapons in a community and a lower incidence of robberies, assaults, and other violent crimes. Following his presentation, a panel discussed the policy consequences of the research. Participants also responded to audience questions. close
