Mr. Nader spoke about his presidential campaign, criticizing major parties for engaging in “cash register politics.” He said that poverty in America was virtually ignored and proposed plans for a “deep democracy” that would fight corporate influences and enpower the working classes. Among the issues he addressed were health care, education, the global economy, and labor laws. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
