The House is expected to take up H.R. 4475, the Department of Transportation and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2001 Conference Report, H.R. 4733, the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act of 2001, Conference Report, and any other conference reports as they become available.

H. Res. 599, waiving a requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII with respect to consideration of certain resolutions reported from the Committee on Rules (H. Rept. 106-909);

H. Res. 600, waiving a requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII with respect to consideration of certain resolutions reported from the Committee on Rules (H. Rept. 106-910);

S. 1653, to reauthorize and amend the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Establishment Act, amended (H. Rept. 106-911);

H.R. 2570, to require the Secretary of the Interior to undertake a study regarding methods to commemorate the national significance of the United States roadways that comprise the Lincoln Highway (H. Rept. 106-912); and

H.R. 4827, to amend title 18, United States Code, to prevent the entry by false pretenses to any real property, vessel, or aircraft of the United States or secure area of any airport, to prevent the misuse of genuine and counterfeit police badges by those seeking to commit a crime, amended (H. Energy and Water Appropriations 2001 Conference Report: The House agreed to the conference report on H.R. 4733, making appropriations for energy and water development for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2001, by a yea and nay vote of 301 yeas to 118 nays, Roll No. 501.

H. Res. 598, the rule that waived points of order against the conference report was agreed to by a yea and nay vote of 231 yeas to 186 nays, Roll No. 500.

Agriculture Appropriations: The House disagreed to the Senate amendment to H.R. 4461, making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration and Related Agencies programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2001 and agreed to a conference. Appointed as conferees: Chairman Young of Florida and Representatives Skeen, Walsh, Dickey, Kingston, Nethercutt, Bonilla, Latham, Emerson, Kaptur, DeLauro, Hinchey, Farr, Boyd, and Obey.

By a yea and nay vote of 409 yeas with none voting ``nay'', Roll No. 502, agreed to the Kaptur motion to instruct conferees to hold a full and adequate public meeting at which managers have the opportunity to debate and vote on all matters in disagreement between the two Houses, and be instructed to fully resolve all differences between H.R. 4461 and the Senate amendment as part of this conference.
