2002 Winter Olympic Commemorative Coin Act: Senate passed H.R. 3679, to provide for the minting of commemorative coins to support the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games and the programs of the United States Olympic Committee, clearing the measure for the President.
Water Resources Development Act: Senate disagreed to the amendment of the House to S. 2796, to provide for the conservation and development of water and related resources, to authorize the Secretary of the Army to construct various projects for improvements to rivers and harbors of the United States, agreed to the House request for a conference, and the Chair was authorized to appoint the following conferees on the part of the Senate: Senators Smith (NH), Warner, Voinovich, Baucus, and Graham.
